The Junior Girl Scouts in Troop 4451 enjoyed a fantastic presentation by Marilyn Rebarchek on September 18th. Marilyn taught them about the different parts of the flower and the significance of those parts. Girls saw a variety of flowers found in the Riverside International Friendship garden and were even able to see the plans for the proposed Irish garden. They went through the garden to make some observations and then used pressed flowers to make their own laminated bookmarks. They really enjoyed learning from an expert and spending the time in the beautiful gardens!
